“South Florida is an exciting place to be."

Moore, a Tallahassee-based communications and marketing agency, has named Nic Breeding — a former White House associate director of political affairs — as Managing Director of its South Florida office.

Breeding will lead new business development in South Florida, the firm said, managing the agency’s West Palm Beach office.

Breeding is moving over to Moore after serving as Vice President with Direct Impact, the communications subsidiary of Burson Cohn & Wolfe.

“South Florida is an exciting place to be, and I was attracted by Moore’s vision for growth and success in this critical market,” Breeding said.

“I’m honored by the fantastic opportunity to join this talented team, and I’m eager to lead the effort in delivering results for our clients and establishing Moore as the go-to communications firm for those who live, work and do business in South Florida.”

Breeding worked under former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at both the Republican Governors Association and the Governor’s political action committee, the Commonwealth PAC.

He’s also worked on political campaigns, including here in Florida.

Terrie Ard, Moore’s president and chief operating officer, released a statement on Breeding’s hiring, saying it will boost the firm’s efforts in South Florida.

“Our decision to appoint Nic to this role underscores our commitment to our statewide and South Florida clients,” Ard said. “Nic brings significant expertise as the leader of our South Florida office — he has worked on behalf of some of the world’s largest and best-known brands and has held leadership positions for the highest office.

“His insights and strategy will benefit existing clients and help us win new clients who want to grow their business through Moore’s full-service communication approach.”
