Gregory Fournier recently joined the team at Gravis Marketing as Director of Campaign Development.

The Winter Park-based nonpartisan political market research company announced the addition of Fournier to its expanding group of political and marketing experts. It’s a move founding partner and Gravis Marketing CEO Doug Kaplan thinks will be of exceptional value to political campaign clients.

“It’s an honor to bring a political veteran like Gregory Fournier into the Gravis Marketing family,” said Kaplan, who launched Gravis Marketing in 2010. “Fournier is one of those rare individuals that have worked on multiple sides of the political landscape — fostering public policy for taxpayer savings and working with several successful political campaigns. This unique blend of practical experience with a natural passion to expect excellence is a perfect fit for Gravis Marketing.

“We welcome him and are very excited about our future prospects.”

Prior to joining Gravis, Fournier was president and CEO of Spectrum Strategic. He is a member of AAPC, the American Political Science Association and the Center for the Study of the Presidency. Throughout his extensive political career, Fournier has managed, advised and designed campaign strategies, as well as become directly involved in a range of city, county, state and federal elections.

Previously, Fournier worked on campaigns such as Newt Gingrich‘s presidential campaign, John Mica for Congress, and Chris McDaniel for U.S. Senate in Mississippi. He also was on the advance team for Mike Huckabee’s book tour supporting God, Guns, Grits and Gravy.

He is no stranger to public policy. In 1996 Fournier wrote and lobbied legislation in New York that saved taxpayers more than $5 million a year.

Fournier served in the Army, and was decorated for his work to enhance the relationship between Egyptians, the U.S. military and the American people. He attended Syracuse University and is working on a Master’s in Political Management with certificates in advocacy campaign management.

Most recently, he began the Six Sigma Certificate program at Villanova University.

“It’s clear to see the diversity and experience that Greg brings to our team at Gravis Marketing,” Kaplan said. “Our company is successful because of the dedication and collaboration of a team of professionals — each with their own experience and talents that they bring to the table.

“We believe that with Greg’s help, we’ll be better prepared to offer superior political consultancy services to our clients — providing them with a true one-stop shop for all their political needs.”
