March fundraising reports are starting to trickle in, and House District 12 Republican Don Redman has an interesting donor on his: Sam Mousa, Jacksonville CAO.

Mousa maxed out for Redman, as part of a $8,340 haul (that included $1,900 of money from the Redmans, but still).

Also maxing out: Best Bet’s Jamie Shelton, the husband of Ali Korman Shelton, who helms Jacksonville’s intergovernmental affairs shop.

Redman has raised just under $23,000, putting him behind his former friends on Jacksonville’s City Council, Clay Yarborough and an apparently resilient Richard Clark (who sources say is back in the campaign game in a big way), as well as current Council aide Terrance Freeman, who the grapevine says had another strong month.

But the Mousa and Shelton backing suggests that Redman’s best month may be yet to come.
