Gov. Rick Scott has a message for fellow Republicans: Stop the “Stop Trump” movement.

In a Facebook post Wednesday, Scott told followers that “it is time for the ‘Stop Trump’ movement to end.” The Naples Republican said Tuesday’s election results show the “anti-Trump efforts didn’t work.”

“Republicans now need to come together. Donald Trump is going to be to be our nominee, and he is going to be on the ballot as the Republican candidate for President,” said Scott in the post. “The Republican leaders in Washington did not choose him, but the Republican voters across America did choose him. The voters have spoken.”

Scott, who endorsed Trump shortly after the March 15 Florida presidential preference primary, said if the anti-Trump groups don’t stop, “their efforts will be nothing more than a contribution to the Clinton campaign.”

“The damage that President Obama has done to our country is serious and substantial. We cannot afford another four years of liberal incompetence, and that is exactly what Hillary Clinton would bring,” he said. “We’ve had an extensive debate amongst ourselves, it is now time to get serious about winning in November. This was a hard-fought campaign, but now is the time for Republicans to unite.”

Then let it be a contribution to her campaign. We, the #NeverTrump mean exactly that. Give us another candidate our we will ask suffer Clinton which we will anyway because he can’t win without the cross over voted that he won’t get. We also have a list of all those who have endorsed Mr trump who we will campaign against for their re-election.
