Jones Walker announced today that the firm continues its expansion in Florida with the opening of a new office in Tallahassee. The office is located in the Tallahassee Central Business District and Marc Dunbar will continue to serve as the Office Head.

Marc W. Dunbar, a partner in the firm’s Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group, focuses his practice on gaming and governmental law, encompassing both lobbying and litigation for casinos, gaming suppliers, pari-mutuels, sweepstakes and charities. Mr. Dunbar is a former Assistant General Counsel and Communications Director for the Florida Department of State.
Daniel Russell, special counsel in the firm’s Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group, focuses his practice on civil and administrative litigation, gaming, and governmental law. Mr. Russell represents major casino companies, manufacturers, and suppliers regarding all matters related to the development, financing, licensing, and operation of gaming and resort facilities.
Christopher Moya, Director of the firm’s Government Relations Practice Group, has served at all levels of legislative, executive and local government branches including stints with the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, the Florida Legislature and the Florida Division of Elections. As a public affairs consultant in the private sector, Mr. Moya has represented some of the world’s best-known corporations, and state and national trade associations including some of the largest public and private employers in Florida.
Emily Duda Buckley, a member of the firm’s Government Relations Practice Group, began her political career in the Florida House of Representatives working with the Appropriations Committee Chairs. Prior to that, she garnered experience working with the Executive Office of the Governor, Southern Strategy Group and The James Madison Institute.
