Marco Rubio in single digits in Missouri poll

rubio, marco - iowa

According to a poll released Friday by the Southeast Missourian, the Show Me State isn’t feeling #Marcomentum, as Marco Rubio languishes in single digits.

Donald Trump has a touchdown lead over Ted Cruz, 36 to 29 percent. In a race to the bottom: Rubio at 9 percent, with John Kasich at 8 percent.

This poll was taken before protesters were arrested and, at least, one was bloodied at a St. Louis Trump rally on Friday, where he bellowed from the stage with seeming approval: “And honestly, protesters are realizing that there are no consequences to protesting anymore. There used to be consequences, there are none anymore, so that’s it, thank you very much.”

Trump’s stream of consciousness is like nothing heard in major American politics since the Nixon White House Tapes. Those, of course, were not intended for public consumption in a front runner’s campaign.
