RNC begins new social media campaign aimed at Hispanic voters

Helen Aguirre-Ferré

The Republican National Committee has begun a new campaign targeting Hispanic voters with a series of social-media offered videos discussing specific issues and urging support for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The series, called “GOP Hispanics: The Week Ahead” features Hispanic speakers discussing the topic of the week. They’re being posted through social media in both English and Spanish versions.

First up is “Terrorism,” a 44-second video featuring RNC Director of Hispanic Communications Helen Aguirre-Ferré discussing President Barack Obama‘s foreign policies and the rise of international terrorism, and making sure the Democratic presidential nominee gets half the blame.

“Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton‘s Iran deal propped up our enemies and alienated allies,” she begins. “Obama and Clinton emboldened Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism, paid them a secret ransom of $400 million, and left the world less safe than ever, with Benghazi, Egypt, Iran, Syria, Libya, Boka Haram. The list is too long.”

“Donald Trump wants the U.S. to lead and be respected,” she continues. “Peace through strength. Yes. I am for Trump.”

What about telling Hispanics that flooding their neighborhood with more foreigners will be the future if they vote Democrat? That socialism that so many are fleeing will only be enforced here, if they vote Democrat!?
