NRCC’s new robocalls target Gwen Graham on Hillary Clinton’s emails

The National Republican Congressional Committee on Wednesday launched paid robocalls asking Florida families to call on U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham to join other lawmakers’ demand that Hillary Clinton’s email server be turned over to a neutral third party.

A recent report by Politico has now stated Hillary Clinton’s “missing” emails still exist on her server and are recoverable. Seizing on the report, thousands of calls will be made in Florida’s 2nd District, pressuring Graham to break her silence and demand transparency from Clinton, the presumptive Democrat nominee for president.

“Gwen Graham needs to put government transparency and accountability ahead of party politics and demand former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton turn over her secret email server to a neutral third party,” said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Our national security and commitment to transparent government is too important for Graham to stay silent merely to appease her party bosses.”

Here’s the call’s script:

I’m calling from the NRCC with an urgent message about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Congresswoman Gwen Graham. As Secretary of State, Clinton used a secret email account and an unsecured server to communicate official state business. Not only did this blatantly violate the spirit of government transparency and accountability, but it also posed a risk to our national security. Lawmakers are now calling on Clinton to turn that private server over to a third party so that government business is not hidden from the American people. Gwen Graham, however, has not called on Clinton to do so and has said nothing at all about this stunning breach of the public trust. Call Congresswoman Graham at 850-785-0812 and tell her to stand up for transparency and demand that Hillary Clinton turn her secret email server over to a neutral third party. This call was paid for by the NRCC and was not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. 202-479-7000.
