Slowly but surely, the Democratic advantage over the Republican side in raw votes continues to increase with two and a half days left in early voting in Duval County.

As of 1 p.m. on Friday, with about 87,000 votes cast, Democrats led Republicans by a margin of about 1,300 votes, 39,175 to 37,912.

“Other” votes, meanwhile, look like they will be the deciding factor. About 9,979 of those have been cast.

All debates are concluded. The Alvin Brown side plans a robust Souls to the Polls effort on Sunday. The Lenny Curry side will hold a GOTV rally on Monday.

Early voting totals on Thursday, for all locations, added up to 3,727 votes. Regency, Highlands, Pablo Creek, the Beaches, Mandarin, and South Mandarin all had more than 250 votes on Thursday.
