HD 16’s Dick Kravitz has another slow fundraising month

money-shot balanced budget

If political veteran Dick Kravitz is looking to close the fundraising gap against Duval County School Board member Jason Fischer in the HD 16 race, he’d better get moving.

His $1,600 July is the slowest fundraising month Kravitz has had yet. Despite being an active candidate since late 2014, he’s still raised less that $29,000.

In what has to be worrying for Kravitz enthusiasts, the establishment backing in the race has gone Fischer’s way.

Kravitz told Florida Politics that he will have the money he needs to run a competitive race. However, even without July numbers in yet, Fischer still holds a 3 to 1 fundraising advantage.
