Jeb Bush announces large Miami-Dade County campaign team

jeb bush 08-27

Struggling in the polls and now forced to engage aggressively against front-runner Donald Trump, the Jeb Bush campaign team announced that he’s got a lotta love in his home Miami-Dade County community.

The Jeb!2016 Miami-Dade County Campaign Leadership group was announced on Thursday. The group is being touted as helping promote the former Florida governor’s  record of “using his conservative leadership to transform the diverse state of Florida into an economic success story.”

The group is being chaired by Jeb Bush Jr. Honorary Chairmen are former RPOF Chairman Al Cardenas, former U.S. Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart and the three GOP members of Congress based in Miami-Dade: Illean Ros-Lehtinen, Mario Diaz-Balart and Carlos Curbelo.

“I’m proud to support my friend, Jeb, in his campaign for president,” Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen said in a prepared statement. “Jeb’s record of job creation in Florida demonstrates he can grow our economy nationally and get Americans back to work. Additionally, Jeb knows that we need a foreign policy that will help America regain its prestige and that is democracy centered. Jeb is focused on ensuring our nation is once again a global leader and for that reason and many others, it’s my honor to support Jeb for president.”
