In a clear rebuke to Donald Trump, Jeb Bush says that,”anybody can talk, I’ve delivered,” as his campaign begins airing his first television ad of the presidential campaign in New Hampshire.
Called “I’ve Delivered,” the 30-second ad highlights his record as governor of Florida, touting how he cut taxes and spending and led Florida to create more jobs than any other state during his eight-year reign.
“We have an important choice to make about the direction of our country. If you want more DC politicians or more self-promoters, you’ve got options,” Bush begins in the ad, as he attempts to separate himself from Washington and Trump, who continues to dominate him in state and national polls. “I’m offering something different: leadership, ideas and a proven conservative record. As governor, I cut taxes, cut spending, balanced budgets and Florida led the nation in job creation. Anybody can talk. I’ve delivered and I hope to earn your support.”
The initial $500,000 ad buy will have “I’ve Delivered” carried on Boston television station WMUR and statewide cable in New Hampshire, running from 9/9 to 9/29, with 15 percent of the first placement dedicated for targeted online advertising.
The Bush campaign says this will be the first step in a “multi-week process” where they will be expanding their advertising in New Hampshire and the other early states.
