Marco Rubio Good Morning America GOP Debate

Donald Trump continues to lead in New Hampshire in a new poll out on Wednesday, but Marco Rubio is rising.

The poll, conducted by the MassInc Polling Group for Boston NPR station WBUR, shows Trump leading with 22 percent, doubling his advantage over Rubio and Dr. Ben Carson, who are tied for second with 11 percent.

Ted Cruz is next with 8 percent, followed by Jeb Bush and John Kasich at 7 percent. Chris Christie and Rand Paul are tied at 5 percent.

Carson seems to be fading, at least in this poll. He’s dropped 4 points in just two weeks in the poll, and 6 points in the past two months.

Unlike Trump, Rubio draws appreciable support from both the 46 percent of respondents who prefer an outsider, and the 36 percent who prefer an experienced candidate.

These results are based on a survey of 405 likely voters in the 2016 New Hampshire Republican Primary. Live telephone interviews were conducted Saturday and Sunday via both landline and cellphone using conventional registration-based sampling procedures. Approximately 9 in 10 respondents are previous primary voters. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 4.9 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.
