Acting U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. will tour Valencia College in Orlando on Tuesday and then speak about student access issues as part of a national tour to promote President Barack Obama‘s education policies.

King will tour Valencia’s West Campus and meet with students in a round-table discussion Tuesday morning joined by U.S. Undersecretary of Education Ted Mitchell, who oversees higher education programs at the department.

Tuesday afternoon Mitchell will address a Community College Conference taking place at the Rosen Plaza hotel.

Valencia is the third stop on King’s “Opportunity Across America” tour this month, and the only community college on the tour.
