Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton are heading to South Florida.
Both campaigns announced Monday that the candidates plan to spend Tuesday night in South Florida for election night rallies.
Rubio, a Miami resident, is scheduled to hold a primary night celebration at the Florida International University Arena, 11200 SW 8th Street in Miami. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event is expected to begin around 7 p.m.
Rubio has spent the past week campaigning throughout the Sunshine State. It is a must win for the Florida senator, who has been trailing in the polls in recent weeks. On Monday, he campaigned in the Interstate 95 corridor, with stops in Jacksonville, Melbourne, West Palm Beach and West Miami scheduled.
Clinton’s event will be about 90 minutes north in West Palm Beach. Her campaign announced Monday, she was scheduled to attend an event at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Clinton is well ahead of Bernie Sanders in Florida. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was in the Sunshine State on Monday to campaign for his wife. He was scheduled to attend events in Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Winter Park.
