Though the special elections to fill the vacancies left by John Thrasher‘s exit from the Florida Senate are a lower-key affair than the usual hullabaloo surrounding big general elections, there will still be a handful of election watch parties to attend throughout the First Coast.

State Senate District 6 candidate and former state Rep. Travis Hutson‘s Election Night shindig will be held at the Davidson Realty World Golf Village Office, on E Town Place in St. Augustine.

Paul Renner will gather campaign staff and supporters at the Palm Coast Hilton Garden Inn, beginning at 7 pm. to watch the returns come in his campaign to represent House 24, vacated by Hutson.

Jack Capra will be watching the results of his District 17 race against Commissioner Cyndi Stevenson come in from his home in unincorporated St. Johns County, off of I-210. Stevenson supporters will be gathering at Donovan’s, along U.S. 1 in St. Augustine.
