Congressman Daniel Webster Monday released his second television commercial of the 2016 election. The commercial features Webster’s family and criticizes the failure of Washington to secure a better future for Americans.
“This commercial highlights the principles and values that characterize Congressman Webster’s personal life and public service — faith, family and a commitment to the constitutional freedoms that make America great,” said campaign manager Andrew Tyrrell. “This election is about fixing a broken Washington. Congressman Webster knows what it takes to make government work. That’s why he took on John Boehner for Speaker of the House, and it’s why he is continuing to fight to fix Washington — to leave our children and grandchildren better off than we are.”
The commercial begins running Monday on television and digital platforms across Florida’s 11th Congressional District. The commercial can be viewed at electwebster.com/family.
District 11, created by the Florida Supreme Court in 2015, includes parts of Lake and Marion, as well as Hernando, Citrus and Sumter counties. Webster has represented more than a quarter of District 11 during his time in Congress.
Webster is a successful small-business owner and active member of his church and community. He and his wife, Sandy, have six children and 13 grandchildren.
Transcript:
“To Sandy and me, you don’t just talk about principles, you live them.
“The strength of faith and family. The constitutional right to freedom.
“I’m proud of this nation, but not our government. Not when it spends what it doesn’t have, promises what it cannot deliver, and leaves us wondering if their future is secure.
“I’m Dan Webster, and I approve this message – because America’s not broken, Washington is.”
