The campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is opening six more offices in Florida in conjunction with the Democratic National Committee this week, giving the Clinton campaign 57 Florida offices.
The new joint Hillary For Florida-DNC offices are set for Coral Gables, Key West, Pinecrest, East Orlando, West Orlando, and Ft. Myers.
The Hillary For Florida-DNC offices will serve as hubs for organizing activity — allowing supporters to mobilize Clinton voters and Democrats up and down the ballot on election day.
In addition, Hillary for Florida and the DNC are holding formal office opening events this week for previously announced offices in Panama City, Coral Springs, Palm Bay, Quincy, Punta Gorda, West Palm Beach, Deltona, and two in Jacksonville.
The campaign for Republican nominee Donald Trump has been much slower in opening Florida campaign offices. However, the Miami Herald reported last week that 25 offices should be opening this week.
