Tallahassee-based public relations firm CoreMessage is hiring Kat Bustamante as its newest account manager.
Bustamante comes to the full-service PR shop after nearly six years with the Florida Chamber Foundation, where she worked on multi-year integrated strategic communications, marketing and engagement plans.
In her new role, Bustamante will help develop and follow through on communications strategies for CoreMessage’s varied corporate, political and government clients.
“We’re excited to welcome Kat to our team,” said Cory Tilley, President of CoreMessage. “Her experience at the Florida Chamber Foundation and exceptional professional skills will be tremendous assets to both our clients and team members.”
Bustamante is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she studied advertising and public relations.
Before launching CoreMessage in 2001, Tilley had worked as a senior public relations adviser to former Gov. Jeb Bush, including a stint as chief of staff.
