Orange Co. has 6 municipal elections Tuesday

Winter Garden Mayor John Rees to be reelected Tuesday without opposition.

Six Orange County cities and towns have municipal elections on Tuesday including in Winter Garden where Mayor John Rees will be reelected because he is running unopposed.

Also in Winter Garden, voters will be considering the District 1 seat of the City Commission, where incumbent City Commissioner Lisa Bennett is being challenged by Joseph Richardson.

In Apopka there are two City Council seats up for grabs, both featuring incumbents.

In Apopka’s District 3, Commissioner Douglas Michael Bankson is being challenged by Leroy Bell.

In Apopka’s District 4, Commissioner Kyle Becker is being challenged by Lorena Potter.

In Belle Isle, District 1 City Commissioner Ed Gold will be reelected without opposition.

In Belle Isle’s District 7, Commissioner Sue Nielsen is being challenged by John Eversten.

In Eatonville’s District 4, City Councilman Tarus Mack is being challenged by Marlin Daniels.

In Eatonville’s District 5, James Benderson and Angie Gardner are battling for an open seat on the City Council.

In Maitland’s District 2, Justin Brownlee and Vance Guthrie are battling for an open seat on the City Council.

In Winter Park’s District 1, Jeffrey Blydenburgh and James “Marty” Sullivan are battling for an open seat.

In Winter Park’s District 2, Carl Creasman and Sheila DeCiccio are battling for an open seat.
