Marjorie Taylor Green shamelessly asks for cash as House debates her fate

To her, this is a moneymaking opportunity.

Amid a well-deserved public shaming U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is showing no shame.

To her, the House vote to strip her of her committee assignments is a moneymaking opportunity. At least it seems that way given her email blast asking her supporters for campaign cash.

With no sign of remorse for calling the Parkland and Sandy Hook shootings “false flags,” Greene said she was being targeted by “liberals” who are “out of control.” She described the debate with a bizarre paraphrasing of the “First they came … “ poem.

“Today, they are coming after me to make sure I can’t do the job I was elected to do — what will they do if you say something they don’t like?” she asked.

Gimme a break.

She’s not being unjustly prosecuted. She’s not being hauled off to a prison camp. She’s not being removed from office — though I wouldn’t shed a tear if she was.

Believe it or not, gleefully reopening the wounds of shooting survivors, and the families of those who didn’t survive, is not a viewpoint worth protecting from admonishment. It’s a textbook example of when the House should punish members.

She slathers on the whataboutism for added effect, asking why U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez haven’t faced the same consequences.

Maybe because they didn’t commit the same crime?

Cluelessly, she says this “is all retribution because they know I still question the results of the 2020 Election and I filed my bill to impeach Joe Biden last month.”

No, Representative, it’s for all your other tasteless publicity stunts. The ones you don’t mention in your cash grab because you know it would make your mailing list seal their wallets tighter than Fort Knox.

Marjorie Taylor Greene endorsed the killing of Democrats. Did Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez endorsed the killing of Republicans congressional members?

MONEY! MORE MONEY! That is her only consistent behavior! So she lies.
