Joe McCann is taking his deep understanding of Florida politics and legislative talents to Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, one of the nation’s most venerable and influential law firms.
Formerly a senior VP at Ballard Partners, McCann will now be Baker Donelson’s senior public policy consultant in Tallahassee. He becomes the latest high-profile acquisition in the firm’s plan to develop its government affairs practice in Florida.
Before his tenure at Ballard Partners, McCann was campaign manager for Bob Butterworth in his run for state attorney general, as well as a senior legislative aide to state Sen. Ron Klein, and legislative aide to U.S. Rep. James Bacchus.
