Email insights: Sayfie Review is looking for a few good political early risers

Early risers who cannot get enough of Florida Politics (both the state’s political landscape and the website) can put their addiction to good use at Sayfie Review, the “online bible for Florida news junkies.”

Well, at least one of the online bibles for Florida news junkies.

In an email to subscribers, Sayfie Media announced it is looking to hire article editors to review news sites and help generate SayfieReview.com, the daily political news website that many of Florida’s most influential people have been reading for a dozen years.

For those unfamiliar, Sayfie aggregates news sources nationwide to bring the latest in Florida-centric political news and trends.

Sayfie Review is the brainchild of lawyer and government relations consultant Justin Sayfie, a senior policy advisor, communications director and chief speechwriter to former Gov. Jeb Bush.

SayfieReview.com launched in 2002, as an online publication to provide focus on Florida politics.

According to the email, prospective candidates should have an interest and familiarity in Florida politics, as well as knowledge of state-related news media, sites and sources.

One caveat: Applicants must have a “willingness to be up early in the morning.”

The ideal candidate can work anywhere in Florida where there is a reliable Internet connection “early in the morning.”

It must be really, really early for Sayfie to mention it twice in one email.

Nevertheless, it sounds like an interesting job that the right person can do from home – in a bathrobe with a cup of strong coffee.

Justin, I’m interested in the early morning position, (s). Please let me know. I have alongstanding interest in Florida politics, know most of the players, and keep up with the issues.
