Dana Young, Jeanette Nunez to hold joint fundraiser in Tallahassee

House Majority Leader Dana Young and fellow Republican Rep. Jeanette Nuñez are set to hold a fundraiser this month in Tallahassee following a full day of committee hearings next week.

Among the all-ladies cast of hosts are several fixtures on the Capitol scene: Lindy KennedyCarole DuncansonSandra Mortham and Marty Bowen will all be on hand to celebrate the dynamic duo — who have held joint receptions in the past — and add to the campaign coffers for both Young’s and Nuñez’s fourth terms in the House.

The senior lawmakers will both hold seats on the coveted Appropriations Committee during the 2015 & 2016. Nuñez will additionally chair the Government Operations Appropriations Subcommittee. Both are set to term out in 2018.

The reception will take place on Wednesday, February 11th at the downtown office of Bascom Communications and Consulting, on Adams Street.

By state law, the maximum contribution to each candidate is $1,000 per person or entity.
