If I was a crazy conspiracy theorist like my MAGA Buddies, I might draw a correlation that a visit from Vance and….poof gone in 24 hours. Regardless, though deluded like all followers, he was a pretty good guy and walked the walk. More accepting of “The Others”, even those gay ones, than most. RIP Pope, the world’s a little sadder today.

Too bad they can’t hear the message of love hope, inclusion, compassion, and dignity. Better to build bridges than walls.

I’ll bet lots of money that the Italian’s are in no mood for a bridge from North Africa.

Not sure which North Africans they are more afraid of — Hannibal (who went around with his elephants, as there was not bridge) or Augustine of Hippo (more commonly known as Saint Augustine). In the modern age, the Catholic Church may not be terribly concerned with provincial Italian views given that the vast majority of Catholics are not Italian (or European).

Curious why the Pope didn’t offer to take those immigrants in at Vatican City. Kind of like the zombiecrats and their sanctuary city silliness. All sounds good until they start showing up.

Funny how parroting “why doesn’t the Pope take them?” ignores that
(1) Vatican City is 1/10th the size of Central Park,
(2) the Catholic Church already runs one of the largest refugee support networks on Earth, and
(3) pretending sanctuary cities “failed” is just lazy scapegoating for federal incompetence.
Classic propaganda tactic: shift blame, mock compassion, and hope no one checks facts.

See, you are tracking me JD. Still living rent free in your head for now. Again I might have to start charging you. Of course I am familiar with the size of Vatican City. I have actually been there a couple of times. Just pointing out the statements from the Pope and the Blue State Zombiecrat leaders that promote this stuff on one hand and then do on the other. My Congress person is one of those zombiecrats that promotes this stuff. I wrote this person and asked that they should go to their city council meeting and propose an immigrant tent city in their town. Silence from the left. All talk.

Foghorn, a classic bait-and-switch propaganda: pretend being “familiar” excuses the false premise, shift from global humanitarian work to local politics, then claim “silence” proves guilt. It’s all just moving the goalposts to frame compassion as hypocrisy. Propaganda playbook move.
Do you realize you’re doing it? Of course you do. What’s to track. I read the same articles you do. but you seem to have more time than I.

Marjorie Taylor Green called him evil today, and said she’s glad he’s dead.
A lot of really classy people over there in Trump’s camp.
