The pro-abortion rights org is building up as Democrats look to rebound in 2026.

Ruth’s List Florida is retooling two top leadership posts early in the 2026 election cycle.

The organization, which helps elect Democratic women who run as pro-abortion rights candidates, has brought on Haleigh Hutchison as its new Political Director. Ruth’s List is also promoting Jadyn Gonzales to serve as Development Director.

Hutchison is a veteran of the Miami-Dade Mayor’s Office, serving as Director of Operations for two years under Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Hutchison also worked in the same role when Levine Cava served on the County Commission prior to her run for Mayor.

Hutchison also served for over a year as Vice President at EDGE Communications and has led multiple campaigns.

Before joining Ruth’s List, Hutchison served in a top communications role for the Pace Center for Girls.

“Haleigh’s depth of experience in both policy and politics makes her an incredible asset as we expand our work across the state,” said Ruth’s List Florida CEO Christina Diamond. “Her leadership will be instrumental in helping us recruit and support the next generation of pro-choice women leaders.”

The organization is also promoting Gonzales, who has worked at Ruth’s List for about a year and a half. Gonzales previously worked as a field coordinator for Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy Millan. Gonzales then went on to serve as Deputy Campaign Manager for former Sen. Janet Cruz in 2022. Ruth’s List endorsed both of those candidates.

Gonzales is also President of the Pinellas County Young Democrats and is a member of the Pinellas County Democratic Executive Committee.

“Jadyn’s promotion reflects not only her hard work but also the tremendous value she brings to our fundraising and engagement strategy,” Diamond said. “Her commitment to building grassroots power for pro-choice women is exactly what we need to meet this moment in Florida.”

Ruth’s List Florida says it has helped elect more than 300 pro-choice Democratic women throughout the state since being founded in 2008.

    Good Morn ‘Ting Sage Patriots,
I, EARL PITTS AMERICAN, am not sure how this woman was selected over me for this position. But it may have had something to do with my Sage Patriot status and her Dook 4 Brains Leftist status.
I, EARL PITTS AMERICAN, would have otherwise been the top choice …. does anyone know if this Ruths List outfit is a Dook 4 Brains Leftist orginazation?
Because I, EARL PITTS AMERICAN, am considering calling #LAW on my phone to get a fatty financial settlement.
    Thank you, fans of Earl,

Fitting how Ruth’s List endorsed certain Pinellas County School Board candidates despite them not being Democrat. Probably because they know their party registration is just a front.
