Corrine Brown, Reggie Fullwood to highlight Friday Hob Nob

Corrine Brown

A “hob nob” event, mostly involving African-American Democrats, takes place Friday evening at 6:30 at Jacksonville’s Salem Center, the usual meeting place for the Duval County Republican Executive Committee.

The “JAX Political Hob Nob AND Straw Poll” will include U.S. Congresswoman Corrine Brown, Senate Candidate Tony Khoury, Congressional candidate Lake RayState Rep. Reggie Fullwood from House District 13, House District 14 Dems Leslie Jean-Bart and Gracie McCastler, and other candidates.

The event is being promoted by Mincy Pollock, an operative for Rep. Brown who has helped out with, among other things, Brown’s push toward Medicaid expansion. Pollock also had some exposure in the One Door for Education case, which currently is in a pre-trial phase in federal court.
