According to Marc Caputo of POLITICO, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio is trying to unload the Tallahassee home he co-owns with David Rivera, the former congressman under investigation in a federal campaign-finance probe.
Democrats are having a field day with this story, with the Florida Democratic Party going so far as to post a mock-ad on Craig’s List listing the home for sale.
Here’s a suggestion for Rubio, who has to understand he cannot run for President of the United States while co-owning a home with the likes of Rivera.
Rubio needs to call WeBuyUglyHouses.com right now and take anything he can get for the property. As that company promises, it “helps you bypass the headache so you can get on with your life.”
A headache like, say, David Rivera.
I get it. Rubio’s not as well as off as the Herb Kohls of the world. But is getting dogged like this really worth 40 or 50 grand?
As Gordon Gekko once said, “Dump it.”
