California U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa is the featured guest at fundraiser Monday evening hosted by former FDIC chair Bill Isaac and the Republican Party of Sarasota.
Issa, an outspoken conservative from north of San Diego, is on the U.S. House Committees on Judiciary and Foreign Affairs.
Also featured at the $500-a-ticket event are two other members of the House Judiciary committee, Chairman Bob Goodlatte from Virginia, and Georgia U.S. Rep. Doug Collins.
After leading the FDIC during the financial crisis of the 1980s, Isaac — a national financial expert — is best known in Sarasota as the developer of the $200-million Pineapple Square, the retail and dining center in downtown.
The event is from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Bill and Christine Isaac, 1209 Westway Drive in Sarasota.
Tickets start at $500, to be a “friend” of the Darrell Issa Victory Fund, $5,000 to be a sponsor, and a patron is $1,000. RSVP to Bill Isaac at [email protected].
Dentations can be made to Darrell Issa Victory Fund, P.O. Box 760, Vista, CA 92085. Or payments can be made at [email protected].
