Email Insights: Ron DeSantis for Florida thanks “key supporters”

DeSantis

The Ron DeSantis for Senate juggernaut rolls on, according to an email sent out Thursday morning by the DeSantis campaign.

“DeSantis for Florida began the second fundraising quarter with nearly $1.1 million in Cash on Hand and has already picked up the support of conservative grassroots groups like the Club for Growth PAC, Senate Conservatives Fund, and FreedomWorks PAC,” claims the email from the press office, which cites “overwhelming grassroots support” in addition to the key supporters mentioned in the email.

“I am grateful for the support my campaign has received,” said Congressman DeSantis. “The Floridians I thank today have done so much for so many great causes.  The support I receive through their efforts will help me spread my message throughout Florida.”

The key supporters listed in the email include two ambassadors, John Rood and Francis Rooney, as well as former Governor Bob Martinez. Notable is that the list of key supporters spans most key metropolitan areas in the Florida peninsula, which suggests that DeSantis will be able to compete statewide for donors and votes.
