HD11’s Sheri Treadwell breaks $25K barrier
Sheri Treadwell has been endorsed by the Northeast Florida Builders Association in her bid for the House District 11 seat

The strong start to the fundraising campaign of Donnie Horner to replace Janet Adkins in HD 11 has put the rest of the field on notice. Still, there are six other candidates. The previous fundraising leader, former Duval Supervisor of Election employee and GOP stalwart Sheri Treadwell, keeps plugging away.

Treadwell raised $3,175 in June, bringing her grand total to $25,100.

Treadwell’s money, by and large, comes from her own account and from grassroots donors. Her most prominent contributor? Her former boss, Jerry Holland.

Among other candidates in the HD11 race, Barry Holloway raised no money in June. Tom Taylor raised $2,800 in June, including $100 from prominent Beaches Republican Scott Wiley and Jax Beach Mayor Charlie Latham.

Jack Daniels and Cord Byrd, meanwhile, have yet to report.

Horner, who looks like the prohibitive favorite in terms of establishment support, drew from former Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton, his father Herb, businessman Peter Rummell and assorted Frisches.
