HD 12 candidate Don Redman has biggest fundraising month yet

Don Redman

Former Jacksonville City Councilman Don Redman, in the House District 12 race to replace term-limited Lake Ray, has been slow to start his fundraising operation. July was similarly torpid, yet has been his biggest month thus far.

Redman raised slightly more than $3,000 in July, pushing his aggregate total just a little more than $7,000.

Two $1,000 donations, from Snyder Air Conditioning and Joe Collins, boosted his total. The biggest name among his July donors: Ron Salem, a GOP mainstay who was on a Lenny Curry transition committee.

Even without his July numbers in yet, fellow former Councilman Richard Clark holds a commanding lead in the fundraising race.
