Jeb Bush will be in Londonderry, New Hampshire on Friday morning to participate in a remembrance ceremony marking the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Bush will be attend the September 11th Observance on the Londonderry town commons in New Hampshire at 8:30 a.m., where he is scheduled to make brief remarks and will then read out the names of some of 2,977 victims.
The official start of the ceremony will be at 8:46 a.m. when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. According to a press release from the American Legion Post 27, Bush will be joined by members of American Legion Post 27, invited guests, students, and members of the general public, who will also take turns reading aloud the victims’ names. The ceremony is expected to last just over 3 hours concluding around 12 noon.
Bush was in the middle of his first term as Governor of Florida when the attacks occurred. His brother, former President George W. Bush, was in Sarasota, Florida, on the morning when the World Trade Center was attacked by Al Qaeda.
