Pam Keith, overshadowed in the Florida Democratic Senate contest that has mainly focused on U.S. Reps. Alan Grayson and Patrick Murphy, has been endorsed by the National Women’s Political Caucus.
“Pam Keith has worked tirelessly, not only for our country as a JAG officer in the United States Navy, but also in her local community,” NWPC President Donna Lent said in a news release. “She is passionate and driven, and we are eager to see her actions in the Senate.”
“Pam Keith has an impressive record of advocating for the less fortunate,” added Paula Owen Willmarth, the organization’s vice president for political planning. “We feel certain that her vast experience in the military and law will make her a fearless advocate for women’s rights and gender equality.”
Keith is a North Palm Beach lawyer who’s been waging an underdog campaign for Florida’s Democratic Senate nomination. She was a JAG office in the Navy, and has lived and worked in various cities across the country.
The National Women’s Political Caucus describes itself as a multiparty, multicultural grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political field and creating a political power base designed to achieve equality for women.
