A “celebration of life” will be held for Fred Leonhardt, the longtime Republican lawyer-lobbyist and member of Florida’s GrayRobinson firm next week, the firm says.
The service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at the First Presbyterian Church, 106 E. Church St. in downtown Orlando.
There is also a visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Lee Fellowship Hall, also at First Presbyterian.
Leonhardt died this past weekend of an apparent heart attack. He was 65.
He was well-known in the Capitol and beyond, and at last count was registered to lobby for nearly 50 clients. He also represented many nonprofits over the years and was on numerous advisory panels.
Leonhardt was regularly included on Orlando Magazine’s “50 Most Powerful People in Orlando” list.
