At the ripe old age of 29, Contribution Link’s William Arnold already has built a reputation as a data wizard.
Originally from Jacksonville, Arnold got his start in politics working for former Jacksonville City Councilman Stephen Joost while he was still in college. He then moved on to stints under Rick Scott and Adam Hollingsworth, among others.
“Their trust encouraged me to convert a lifelong passion into a career. I am forever grateful to all three,” he says.
Known as a research freak, Arnold’s former colleagues say his ability to multitask, organize reams of data and manage a team, all while maintaining a positive attitude, are major campaign assets.
The lesson he’s already learned from the political world is one that translates to many other spheres as well: “Know who your friends are.”
Arnold says he got into politics because he couldn’t imagine doing anything else, but if he had to change careers? “I’d be working in wherever I had to crunch numbers.”
