Marco Rubio attacked for being out of the mainstream in American Bridge ad

rubio, marco - fp

Although Marco Rubio has yet to truly break through in the 2015-2016 GOP presidential campaign, he’s been doing enough to keep himself in the game. A Quinnipiac poll released on Thursday shows him in third place in Iowa with 13 percent support, an eight-point increase from a month ago.

And Democratic-leaning groups certainly haven’t written him off yet.

The liberal group American Bridge has a new out this morning, blasting Rubio for being out of the political mainstream on issues like abortion rights, the minimum wage, immigration and  his work ethic, where his series of missed votes in the Senate continues to be used as a cudgel against him by his critics.
