Latest on the legislative staffing merry-go-round

With a tip of the hat to Legislative IQ powered by LobbyTools, here are the latest movements – both on and off – of the legislative merry-go-round.

Off: Chris Cantens is no longer the legislative assistant for Miami Lakes Republican state Rep. Jose Oliva.

On: Sheree Vann is now the district secretary for Lake City Republican state Rep. Elizabeth Porter.

Off: Michael Geren is no longer the district secretary for Tallahassee Democratic state Rep. Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda.

On: David Zaret is now the legislative assistant for Miami Beach Democratic state Rep. David Richardson.

On: Alyssa Gay is the new district secretary for Sarasota Republican state Rep. Greg Steube.

Off: Wendi Leach is no longer Steube’s district secretary.

On: Derek Miller became the administrative assistant for both the House Choice & Innovation Subcommittee and K-12 Subcommittee.

On: Laureen Zaugg is the new administrative assistant for the Senate Committee on Agriculture.

Off: Joyce Butler is no longer administrative assistant for the Agriculture committee.

On: Bobbye Iseminger became the senior administrative assistant for the House Select Committee on Affordable Healthcare Access.
