Some Iowa caucus goers will hear a personal plea from Marco Rubio on Monday night.
Rubio is scheduled to visit three caucus sites Monday night to speak to caucus-goers before they cast their votes. The visits will be Rubio’s final attempt to woo voters before the Iowa caucuses begin.
According to the campaign, Rubio is scheduled to hit three caucus locations before 7:30 p.m., Central time. The Iowa caucuses begin at 7 p.m. Central, with representatives from campaigns giving speeches before the GOP caucuses begin.
Rubio has spent a considerable amount of time in Iowa in recent weeks, crisscrossing the states in hopes of drumming up support for his campaign. Over the weekend, his campaign ran a 30-minute advertisement in every media market across the state.
The Florida Republican is currently sitting in third place in the Hawkeye State with 10.2 percent support. He trails Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, who are at 35.8 percent and 19.6 percent respectively.
The Iowa caucuses begin at 7 p.m. central time.
