Rubio-Iowa

The super PAC backing Marco Rubio is out with a new advertisement meant to play up his electability.

The 30-second spot, paid for by Conservative Solutions PAC and called “Both Right,” talks about why Rubio is the best man for the nomination. The advertisement, according to Politico Playbook, is expected to hit the airwaves Tuesday.

“Marco Rubio is the conservative that can win and the Clinton machine knows it,” a man is heard saying in the advertisement. “Rubio can beat the establishment. He’ll unite Republicans and restore the American Dream.”

“If you’re not with Marco, you’re electing the Democrats,” the voiceover continues.

Rubio came in third in Iowa with 23 percent, performing better than recent polls had projected. Ted Cruz came out on top with 28 percent followed by Donald Trump with 24 percent.

The strong finish in Iowa gives Rubio momentum going into the New Hampshire primary. The Florida Republican is currently in fifth place, according to recent polling averages. Rubio has events scheduled in New Hampshire on Tuesday and Wednesday, and is expected to spend much of the next week in the Granite State.

The New Hampshire primary is next Tuesday.
