David Jolly won’t endorse in GOP presidential primary

david jolly stop act

According to recent polls, David Jolly is the front runner in Florida’s GOP U.S. Senate race. Any hopes, though, that political capital would be lent to a presidential candidate were dashed Tuesday night.

Max Goodman, Jolly’s political director, sent out the briefest possible statement: “Rep. David Jolly will not be endorsing in the Florida primary.”

Many Florida Republicans are locked in behind Rubio. Jolly, however, is not one of them.
