More enthusiasm on GOP side in Duval County Early Voting

GOPelephant

Perhaps it’s the Trump factor. Perhaps the Democratic primary feels like a done deal. Whatever the case, Duval County Republican turnout exceeds that on the other side.

As of Saturday morning at 7:15, 19,928 Republican votes have been received, compared to just 14,506 Democrats.

The Republicans lead on the absentee side, as usual, but the big surprise is that even in walk up Early Voting, Republicans have a turnout edge: 8,120 t0 7,952.
