Gov. Rick Scott announced the reappointments of Dr. Bridget Bellingar and Alicja Janson to the Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
Bellingar, 56, of Largo, has been a self-employed osteopathic physician since 1987. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and her medical degree from the Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is reappointed for a term beginning April 8, 2016, and ending October 31, 2019.
Janson, 69, of Sarasota, is a retired medical technologist. She received her medical laboratory technician degree from the New England Hospital School of Medical Technology. She is reappointed for a term beginning April 8, 2016, and ending October 31, 2019.
The appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
