On Thursday, the White House advanced eight nominees for federal district courts, including three in Florida.
The three Florida nominees: Judge Patricia D. Barksdale, William F. Jung, and Judge Philip R. Lammens.
Barksdale and Jung are nominated to the Middle District of Florida; Lammens, the Northern District.
“Throughout their careers, these nominees have displayed unwavering commitment to justice and integrity,” said President Barack Obama. “Their records are distinguished and impressive, and I am confident that they will serve the American people well from the United States District Court bench. I am honored to nominate them today.”
