Jon Stewart and his comedy writing team over at The Daily Show has never lacked for content when it comes to mocking Florida, so it was a natural that the Comedy Central franchise would take note of the recent report that Gov. Rick Scott has banned the terms “Climate change,” and “Global warming,” from use by Department of Environmental Protection staff members.

Stewart busted out a copy of “Roget’s Denial Thesaurus” to find some synonyms that Floridians working in state government can use.

“Nuisance flooding, moisture inconvenience, statewide jacuzzification,” Stewart said. “It appears by 2020, Miami will be involved in a surprise pool party.”

The clip below shows Pinellas County state Senator Jack Latvala busting up when the issue came up in a committee hearing last week in Tallahassee.
