Former Miami City Manager Tony Crapp Jr. has joined government affairs firm Ballard Partners as a new partner in the Miami office.
As a part of the team at Ballard, Crapp brings years of local government operations and public policy experience. Crapp, currently a managing partner at PC & Associates of South Florida, also served as a longtime aide and Chief of Staff to Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado.
“Tony will be a fantastic addition to Ballard Partners,” said Ballard Partners President Brian Ballard. “He is well-respected in the Miami-Dade community and his background in city government and public policy issues will make him a vital member of our team.”
While he takes on a new role with Ballard Partners, Crapp will continue his work with PC & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in governmental affairs, business development, public relations and marketing.
“I am thrilled to join Ballard Partners,” Crapp said. “Like Brian and his team, I am passionate about working with clients with a diverse set of issues and I look forward to bringing my experience to help develop solutions and maximize results.”
Prior to joining PC & Associates, Crapp worked at GrayRobinson, focusing on governmental and public policy issues. He also spent 15 years in various high-level roles at the City of Miami, the second largest city in Florida. Mayor Regalado appointed Crapp City Manager in 2010.
In addition to numerous awards and recognitions for his leadership and service, Crapp served on the board of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
