Businessman and youth pastor Peter Vivaldi of Windermere appears to have a clear shot at the Republican nomination to run in state Senate District 15, while two Democrats will vie in a primary.
The Democratic-leaning district in south Orange County and north Osceola County will feature an Aug. 30 primary between Democrats state Rep. Victor Torres of Orlando and businessman Bob Healy of Kissimmee.
They and Vivaldi all qualified. No others appear to have filed to run in the district, though officials still are processing late candidate applications.

Peter Vivaldi is the right man for the job. A man with integrity who cares for the people. Give him your vote you will not regret it.
