Stop Career Politicians slams Ritch Workman over immigration votes

Ritch Workman may be campaigning on being tough on immigration, but his critics say that’s far from the case.

Stop Career Politicians, a political committee created to hold Workman accountable for his “moral, ethical and legal transgressions,” said the Melbourne Republican is “no Boy Scout in the fight against illegal immigration.”

“Ritch Workman claims illegal immigrants don’t stand a chance with him standing in their way,” the group said in a release Thursday. “How is providing discounted college tuition to illegal immigrants ‘standing in their way?’ Making it easier for those who break our laws is the exact opposite of ‘standing in their way.’ In fact, Ritch Workman’s vote for college tuition discounts literally rewards illegal immigration.”

In 2014, Workman voted for a bill that allowed students in the United States illegally to pay in-state tuition.

That vote doesn’t appear to be mentioned in a Accomplished Conservative Leaders Fund mailer touting Workman’s stance on immigration. Instead, the mailer says Workman has fought to protect the borders and strengthen laws. The sole contributor to the committee is “Citizens United for Liberty and Freedom,” Workman’s political committee.

This isn’t the first time Stop Career Politicians has called out Workman for his stance on immigration. When the group released its first advertisement in June, it also focused on his record on immigration.

I am curious as to who is behind this organization.
    .
“They”, StopCareerPoliticiansNow-dot-com, are a single-issue PAC, against Ritch Workman ONLY, while trying to deliberately make sure they are confused with the legitimate national group, “Stop Career Politicians”, working for TERM LIMITS.
    .
There are no names associated with this “group”, no paper trail of organizers, no donors lists, no other cross-references on the web, nothing. Even if some of what is said on the website is true, this just smells fishy.
    .
I even checked with SunBiz-dot-org, the Florida Department of State, this “group” has no fictitious name filing, no partnership filings, no non-profit filings, no for-profit filings, no trademark filings, NOTHING.
    .
    They don’t exist.
    .
Probably just a hate site run out of someone’s basement.
