Orlando City Soccer has reached 14,000 season tickets in its inaugural season.
The team announced the milestone this week, and says it has established a waiting list for prospective season ticket holders for the 2016 season. Orlando City ranks among the top teams in MLS for season tickets sold, and are the fourth team with a season ticket waiting list.
The Lions opened their inaugural 2015 Major League Soccer season with a crowd of 62,510 at Citrus Bowl Stadium. It was the second-highest attendance for an MLS inaugural game.
The team is playing its first season at the Orlando Citrus Bowl and plans to move into a downtown stadium in 2016.
It capped its season tickets for 2015 at 14,000 to help ease the transition into the new stadium.
