Donald Trump is airing a new ad in Florida and eight other states on the economy beginning Monday, contrasting what will happen under his administration versus a Clinton presidency.
The ad says that under Hillary Clinton, “the middle class gets crushed, spending goes up, taxes go up” and labels her policies as “more of the same.” In Trump’s economy, the ad says, millions of new jobs will be added and middle class families will get tax relief. The ad ends with a shot of Freedom Tower in New York as the text “Make America Great Again!” appears on screen.
The ad also will run in the battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada, Virginia and Colorado. It’s his second major ad run of this month, following an ad on immigration that he began airing two weeks ago, which was his first ad in the entire general election cycle.
